Tourism Agriculture And Rural Civilization

Peasants are practitioners of village civilization, while rural industries are the main force to push it. As a mode of agricultural operation, tourism agriculture plays a role in the of level of civilization, by affecting peasants'quality and rural community's moral development. Based on the culture function theory and the empirical research methods, this research selected a Z village of Hunan province for the on-the-spot investigation, and assessed the relationships between tourism agriculture and village civilization as well as the ways and the mechanisms in which agricultural management practices promote village civilization.This research examined the two main types of agricultural tourism operations, rural cultural tourism and rural ecological tourism, on their roles of promoting rural civilization.Research Findings:First, agricultural tourism improves peasants' quality and rural moral development, raise the level of utilization of rural cultural resources.Second, rural cultural tourism conducted in rural communities contributes to rural civilization.
