Study On Construction Of Centre Of The Tourist Zone Of West Bank Of Taiwan Straits For Fuzhou City

Tourism industry has been an important growth point on economy of West Bank of Taiwan Straits. It plays a more an more important role in adjusting economic structure, promoting development of regional economy and related industries, and improving people's living standard. Construction of Tourist Zone of West Band of Taiwan Straits aims at strengthening communication and cooperation with Taiwan, and speeding up the integration and development of regional economy to form economic and cultural cooperation region of Taiwan Straits. As it's dominant position, Fujian Province will play an important role in the construction of tourist Zone of West Bank of Taiwan Straits.As the capital of Fujian province, development of tourist industry in Fuzhou will facilitate the tourist development of the province. This makes it good condition for Fuzhou to become core of the Tourist Zone of West Bank of Taiwan Straits.Based on previous research, the paper studied on the concepts and theories of urban tourism, tourist center city and regional tourism by refining of the core concept on theory pattern construction of tourist center city and regional tourism research. Combined with current development and potential of tourism in Fuzhou, the paper also studied possibility for Fuzhou to become the centre city of the tourist zone of West Bank of Taiwan Straits. It provides a systematic theoretical guidance for tourism development and an available theoretical basis and practical study case for regional tourism in our country.
