La Equipment Maintenance And Management Of Research And Applications

This thesis summarizes the operating characteristics of modern equipments, the task and core contents of equipment management, and the history of the development of equipment management. Based on author's working experience, the thesis also summarizes the history of copper tube industry and LA company. As the results of changes in production and market, new demands on equipment maintenance management have been raised. Through the production operations and equipment management analysis, machine operations, maintainability and reliability have been studied. The key equipments in the technical performance, reliable operation of maintenance have been recommended. At the same time, applying machines maintenance theory, the thesis proposes a model of qualitative and quantitative targets and performance evaluation of equipment management system, and evaluates the model with an example application.In this thesis, key issues have been investigated such as the reliability of equipment operation and maintenance of high reliability method. After introducing the basic concepts of equipment's failure distribution principle, and the main factors affecting the reliability, the thesis recommends methods to achieve optimal reliability in spare parts management, maintenance and renewal of the machines through the practice of factors control. An example of 6 Sigma method used to improve IG machines is demonstrated here, which is a practical evidence for the applicability of recommendations.This thesis also focuses on key issues of building a performance evaluation system, which has reasonable performance indicators consists of integrated operation, maintenance factors of equipment including operation efficiency, reliability, maintainability, costs etc. The performance evaluation system has been proposed by business and equipment analysis, which is a formula of key factors and weight coefficient. The company has used the system to make operations policies to achieve better results.The thesis has also given detailed recommendations and methods for equipment maintenance performance improvement. Through implementation of these methods and recommendations, the company has improved its performance significantly. All the analyses, recommendations and methods can be valuable for the other industry sectors.
