Wireless Voice Terminal is always a focus on the special-purpose network research which combined the embedded technologies and communication technologies. And it is widely used in traffic, electric power and civil aviation areas. As the information technologies in society continuously improve, the requirement for wireless voice terminal improves with the trend too. Depending on the improvement of the embedded processing technologies and wireless communication technologies, the wireless voice terminal is developing quickly towards the goal of small size, stability, long range and high speech recognition.Smart card with its own unique advantages is widely used in the decades after the birth around. The new smart with large storage and high computing capacity at the chip level become personal information storage center and new Value-Added Serive launch platform. It not only stores the account information but also compute cipher for authentication and encryption with network cooperation, to our normal users, the card is just personal mobile phone number account, and it stores personal information just like phone book and short messages. With the development of the capacity of card, the SIM will store more important information than before. It is high time to develop the SIM data acquisition technology and data decoding technology. This paper aims at realizing the data acquisition from the SIM using the wireless voice terminal, combined with the embedded technologies and wireless communication technologies, gives out the feasible solutions for the data acquisition work and programs the whole data decoding system.In this paper, we use the STM3210B EVAL board of ST Company as the hardware develop platform. After analyzing the communication process and the characteristic of the structure of command and response and the feature of the data stored in the SIM, a smart card drive module is designed to realize the command exchange between SIM and users. Finally a data acquisition and decode system is accomplished. It can read and decode the important data in the SIM, such as the SMS files and phone book files, and can be connected by serial communication and USB communication with computer management system.
