As a special moving form of nonlinear dynamics system, chaos is a course of determinate and random-like. Chaotic signal has the properties of ergodicity, aperiodic and sensitivity to initial conditions. These properties make the chaos signal be fit for applying in secure communication. The technology of chaotic secure communication is widely used in military field. In modern information confrontation, the reinforcement of the communication system's performance is the critical issue in secure communication field.Firstly, this thesis introduces the background and significance of the issue and presents the conception and research situation of chaotic secure communication. Based on the study of traditional chaotic synchronization and secure communication, this thesis proposes a multi-parameter bilateral coupling synchronization algorithm and deduces the theory of this method. This algorithm improves the performance of traditional chaotic synchronization system on synchronization time cost and system stability. This theory provides a new way of thinking for the development of chaotic synchronization system and secure communication technology.Secondly, the thesis focuses on the realization of lorenz chaos attactor and secure communication system. Based on the comparison of several classical chaotic secure communication system, the chaotic synchronization system based on P-C method is designed according to the multi-parameter bilateral coupling synchronization algorithm and a real chaotic masking secure communication system is realized using VHDL hardware description language by the mean of modular design, which is of real sense to the development and application of the chaotic synchronization.At last, by system simulation, the improved algorithm and realization method is proved to have better synchronization time cost and system stability. Then a summary on this study was described and the prospect of chaos secure communication is proposed.
