Design And Implementation In The Coordinated Work Part Of Network Newspaper Editing System

Network Newspaper Editing System is a system of network collaborative application which is developed according to the actual typesetting and basing on the theory of CSCW (Computer Supported Cooperative Work). The paper introduces the overall design and design idea of CSCW-based Network Newspaper Editing System, summarizes the overall structure, module,CSCW-based key technology research, resolution mechanism of three kinds of conflict such as Typesetting System Software Version and shows in form the resolution method of conflict between the multi-user operation and the object as well as the conflict of layout storage. The paper also elaborates the realization and functional module of CSCW-based Network Newspaper Editing System. Meanwhile, it introduces the two modes of C/S and B/S and discusses the management of database, permission, process and so on in Network Newspaper Editing System.Focusing on the particularity of specific production process and combing with their different needs, distributed architecture with a server and conflict resolution mechanism in three cases are presented. The CSCW-based Network Newspaper Editing System, the double object-level coordination multi-user interface, the co-existence and internet working environment of both modes of C/S and B/S combined with database technology are achieved. It is a management system which has better permission management and process management and it is the application example of CSCW theory in practice.
