In this thesis, we sum up the theory basis and basic architecture of software radio, and proposed the idea of parallel processing based on multiple DSP chips, aiming at real-time signal demodulation. With software radio technique, we designed a general open hardware platform based on multiple DSP chips and implemented the signal modulation function by using reconfigurable and upgradeable application software as more as possible.The system is designed in modularization and bus architecture technology, It consists of pre-processing unit, AD conversion unit, multiple DSP processing network, signal processing software and management platform. The main contributions of this thesis are: dual bus hardware architecture which connect multiple DSP with computer, the interconnection technology of multiple DSP chips which is suitable for high-speed digital signal processing and the parallel demodulation processing technology.The application software was developed by using C++ Builder, it consists of pre-processing controlling module, multiple DSP signal processing module, CPCI device driver module which based on IP core, and real-time demodulation analyzing program.
