The primary function of on-board power network is to provide safe and reliable power supply for electrical and electronic devices on vehicle. In order to ensure high-speed and safe operation of maglev train, the power supply safety of on-board power network must be taken into consideration. The safety function is realized by independent standard modules in distributed mode, which are in the form of redundance and fault-tolerance. On the basis of power supply architecture design, a set of perfect system is needed to provide real time supervisory control for electronic and electrical devices, display the fault information in time and respond correctly.On the background of German high-speed maglev train on Shanghai maglev demonstration line, aiming at the localization of maglev train, the functional architecture design of on-board power network and supervisory control system are analyzed and studied, then a set of simulation system according to requirements of the existing system is designed. The on-board power network is designed based on the idea of fault-safe. System composition, function and characteristics, and anti-thunder and lightning measures are analyzed.The configuration and function of simulation system are analyzed on the basis of introducing those of German on-board power network supervisory control system, the whole set of on-board supervisory control simulation system is also introduced.The simulation system is developed. Function, signal flow and selection of devices of each circuit board are analyzed in detail, and measures for anti-interference are pointed out.Visual C++ advanced programming language is used to design the upper computer application software which can simulate the function of on-board control unit. The implement method of program function is given; the design process is also introduced.The developed simulation system is tested, the testing methods are studied, and the testing data are recorded. The testing results suggest that this system can basically realize the function of on-board power network supervisory control system, can simulate the operational principle and process.Finally, the shortages existed in the process of design and development of the simulation system are pointed out, meanwhile, the relevant improvement methods are proposed, which can establish base for perfecting the system.
