The Design Development Of Fire Alarm Remote Monitoring System Based On Web Server

In the field of fire protection technology, remote monitoring for fire alarm is animportant research hotspot. Fire alarm controller is the kernel device of Fire AlarmSystem (FAS), with responsibilityfor collecting the information such as fire alarm anddetector malfunction. For the sake of improving its reliability, it is necessary toestablish remote monitoring system for Fire Alarm. Aiming at this question, this paperdesigns the embedded Web Server (EWS) in the bottom, and the monitoring andcontrollingWebServerinthetop.Based on adequate investigation to the online monitoring and controlling systemsanddeepanalysisofvariousconstructionmodesofthem,thispaperfirstlytakesFASasan example and presents a new solution. Secondly, the function demand is showed, andsome necessary technologies are studied including embedded technology, active Webpages, network communication, the frames of C/S and B/S, database and its accessing.Thirdly, on the basis of the system requirement, a design of fire alarm remotemonitoringsystembasedonWebServerwasputforward.Fourthly,thewholesystemisdivided into two parts: EWS and the platform of remote monitoring. After analyzingrespectivelythetwoparts indetail,itdescribes designandrealizationthoughts ofeverymodule of them,such as communicating model, information processing module, Webpages module and database module. It gives the EWS's hardware constitution andsoftware realization. Furthermore, it explains detailedly the design and realization ofremotemonitoringplatform. Lastly,thesystemis debuggedandtested,theresultshowsthat everypart ofthesystem works well and theinformationabout fire alarm controllercouldbegottentimelyandaccurately.Theprospectiveaimisachieved.The solution realizes the networking alteration of the fire alarm controller bydesigning EWS. By constructing the platform of remote monitoring embedded on B/Sframe, it realizes the remote centralized monitoring for FAS. This solution is designedfor fire alarm controller, but it provides a new thought for other mechanical andelectronicequipmentsonlinemonitoring.
