The neutral systems with time-delay is a class of time-delay systems broader than others, which can reflect deeper and more exactly the rule of the change of things and reveal the nature of things. Many time-delay systems can be transformed into neutral systems to study, and it can be found in such places as population ecology, the ship's stability, electric current in transmission problem, heat exchangers, the circuit network system, etc. Therefore, the research for neutral systems with time-delay has important theoretical and practical significance. This dissertation studies the problem about the non-fragile delay- dependent robust controller design and stabilization for neutral systems. The system's models are more generalized than others existing literatures. The main works are as follows:First of all, the problem of state feedback stabilization for a class of uncertain neutral systems is investigated. By using linear matrix inequality and the generalized inverse matrix theory, a new design method of memoryless state feedback controller is given.Secondly, for both cases of additive and multiplicative controller uncertainties, the non-fragile delay-dependent robust H∞control of neutral systems was investigated. A sufficient Bounded Real Lemma condition of the closed-loop system was given to show the internally stable, and the design method of non-fragile controller was given too. The result only depended on the solutions of linear matrix inequality, so that no parameter needs to be tuned. Numerical simulation was given to show the validity of the proposed approach. Finally, the problem for the non-fragile H∞controller design of neutral time-delay systems is studied with a class of uncertain product. The state, input and output of the system contain delay while the input and neutral derivative contain uncertainties. Based on constructing appropriate Lyapunov functional, using Schur lemma, the recently proposed integral inequality and matrix singular value theory, a new delay-dependent condition , which can ensure that the closed-loop system is internally stable with a given H∞disturbance attenuation levelγvia a non-fragile controller, is obtained for two types of non-fragile controller. The neutral delay systems under non-fragile controller which is not only within the internally stability but also has the H∞delay-dependent conditions is obtained.
