Reverse analysis of chip is developed basing on the need of discovering design defection and eliminating hardware security vulnerability, automatic testing and diagnosis of electronic equipments, digesting and absorbing advanced electronic product design technology. Nowadays it is the main direction of information security study as well.This paper, basing on the advance research demonstration project of General Armament Department——"XXX Integrated platform for automated test diagnosis", taking encrypted micro-processor chip that widely used in many electronic equipments as the research object, focused on the technical research of extracting program and data from encrypted chip, designed a Direct Read Reverse Analysis Device (DRRAD), and resolved the problem of extracting program from encrypted micro-processor chip.This paper's main work and contribution include:1. A virtual model of micro-processor's internal structure was constructed, basing on the model the encrypt mechanism and work principle of encrypted chip was analyzed, the feasibility of extracting program and data from encrypted chip was reasoned, and also the main problem of reverse analyzing chip was put forward.2. Aiming at the problems of system control, analysis policy, and data communicating in DRRAD system designation, several key technologies including three level detecting analysis, flexible adapter, locating secure fuse in chip, and generating interferential noise was brought forward.3. A system structure of DRRAD was elaborately designed; it is with strong flexibility and high stability, also a real DRRAD system was realized in accordance with the structure. Huge progress was achieved on the technology of shared data access, digital control power source, and interferential noise source. After the completing of DRRAD system, the efficiency of the research result was proved by real chip tests.
