With rapid development of Internet technology, the issues of wireless campus network security authentication become increasingly prominent. Currently, there are some mature security authentication technology such as PPPoE, WEB and IEEE 802.1 X. However, authentication Server's ports are vulnerable to malicious attacks in WEB authentication; PPPoE authentication protocol can not effectively benefit the backbone gigabit bandwidth of Tianjin University; 802.1X is port-based access control protocol, suitable for security authentication of wireless network in Tianjin University. In the Tianjin University IPv4/IPv6 network environment, the author designed the EAP-TTLS wireless IPv4/IPv6 campus network authentication system. For the demand of the client in 802.1X authentication system , the author used the VC ++ environment, called WinPcap and OpenSSL API functions, developed a wireless campus network client based on the EAP-TTLS protocol and simulated system's security and client's stability. The simulation proved the security authentication system is high security and stability.Through the wireshark software caught packets and analyzing, the experiment showed that the system successfully completed the two-way authentication between the authentication server and the applicant, and achieved the session key, hidden user identity function .The experiment showed that the client had a excellent performance, and was stable operation, and this whole security authentication system is much more secure than the current WEB authentication, it is an effective solution to the security authentication issues in the wireless campus network , the whole system has a good prospect in the wireless IPv6 campus .
