With the rapid development of Internet, the Internet more and more closely linked with people's lives, more and more attention to the Internet network security has been paid. The Internet, primarily come into being through the construction of telecom operators on their own IP backbone gateway. So, IP backbone network's safety, reliability, quality and relay circuit transmission performance are directly related to the Internet service quality and operational costs. How to improve the IP backbone network relay circuit, maintain the quality and optimize IP backbone network's organization, is one of the key factors which is related to the development of the Internet.To further improve the IP backbone network's transmission relay circuit quality, network reliability and network organization level, combined with China Telecom IP backbone network structure and network organizations, this thesis researched the method to improve the quality of IP backbone network transmission, and proposed the routing organization and maintenance requirements which adapted to the development of IP backbone network.Through the above-mentioned studies, we try to achieve the following effects, namely, to give xDSL transmission quality analysis on the impact of various factors, to study the scheme to improve the quality of broadband access network transmission; to research the way to improve the transmission performance of DSL and DSL optimization measures, line laying and operation and maintenance requirements; to upgrade the broadband users to the actual perceived quality improvement measures, to enhance the maintenance level of China Telecom's broadband access network.
