Scientific Visualization (SV) is an important assistant tool of scientific research. It helps scientists to observe and understand the essence and meaning of scientific data. Visualization in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is one of the most important research topics in SV. The data in CFD is huge and complex, and Feature Visualization (FV) which is wildly researched has its advantage in processing this kind of data. On the other hand, as a hot research topic, Interactive Data Analysis (IDA) is good for researchers using their own professional knowledge.We will discuss the FV and IDA in this paper. Then we deeply discuss CFD and its important feature– vortex. Next we realize and mend the Fuzzy-based Feature Extract Algorithm; the Fuzzy-based Feature Definition Language is presented. The Fuzzy-based Interactive Feature Extract Algorithm is realized in the next step. At last, a CFD Interactive Analysis and Visualization Frame will be realized integrating the methods we put forwarded. The contributions and relevant work in the paper are as follows.1. The Fuzzy-based Feature Extract Algorithm is realized, and mended in practice, which is crucial in present the feature and flowage in three-dimensional fluid. For validating this algorithm, we integrate the algorithm into ParaView which is an open-source visualization system. Experimental results showed that by using this algorithm, the robustness of Feature Visualization is promoted and the corresponding classification process is optimized.2. Traditional feature extract algorithm is automatic process, which is not good at working with the larger data and complex needs of different users. We analyze the shortages of traditional algorithm in system, then we present a better CFD three-dimensional fluid data typical feature interactive analysis method IFRFE, which is not only making use of IDA, but also extracting the data features with fuzzy theory.3. Interactive feature definition as XML is useful method for improving the interaction of the algorithm and system. We combine Feature Definition Language (FDL) and fuzzy theory to present the Fuzzy-based Feature Definition Language FFDL. With practical algorithm, the CFD three-dimensional fluid feature is extracted and visualized. Through amount of experiments, we proved the advantages of the FFDL.4. We realized of all method discussing above. Followed by the goals and the principia of modern Software Engineering, we build a CFD dataset analysis and visualizing frame, then briefly introduce the system. At last, we use lots of experiments to illuminate the function and friendly interface of the system.
