Radio Frequency Identification(RFID), which is a auto-identification technology, is broadly applied in Circulation of commodities, military supply, manufacture process, important goods tracing and protection and so on. With the development of the techn- ology, RFID application region is enlarged, and at the same time, as the basic element of RFID technology, its performance is highly required. The design of RFID tag is the important technology to realize internet of things. China is making a more effort on research and marketing.Used in Chartered0.18um CMOS RF process ,the whole structure of RFID is analysed and the method of the define the circuit parameter is discussed. On the regulator ,the selection from several stable voltages, the impact of process variation, the analysis of PSRR using current mode method is discussed; On oscillator, the stability with process is analysed, the comparison between ring oscillator and relaxation oscillator is made, the relaxation oscillator principle of process stability is discussed; the input ends of demodulator is optimized to reduce the area of layout and to meet the requirement of high accuracy and low cost; low power loss PSK modulator is used and its theory is analysed to make tag work at more far position. Under simulation and verification, the whole power of tag radio frequency and analog blocks is under 5uW, which can meet the demand of more identification system. Because of using reduction layout technology and careful layout design, the area of layout is redeced comparing with last version, which is more competitive with other tag.The power inprovement of semi-active tag is proposed. The mode change in the tag is designed. The circuits designed in this thesis will provide the guideline for further research. The optimization of these sub circuit blocks can be used in practice. The discussion on process stability reveal the concern on the yield of the product.
