The rapid development of urban design and construction has driven large-scale underground pipeline construction and renovation project, which is called the second city. The irregularity of underground pipeline construction and the incompleteness of historical data bring great inconvenience to the restoration and reconstruction of the pipeline, thus bringing many technical problems to the city planning construction. Based on this, the thesis is about appropriative network layout testing system, which makes the preliminary upholstery for urban construction and plays an improving role in the urban construction.This subject realizes the function of testing and 3D pipe network mainly through three-axis gyroscope and laser range-finders on the testing system. Using laser range-finder to realize the automatic testing function of some parameters, such as the length, width, height and diameter and using the three-axis gyroscope for the angle information, such as pivot angle and dip angle of the pipe network, then through the data acquisition card, feedback the data to the data processing system of the testing system for further data processing, so that generate 3D routing chart.Based on system general structure design of software and hardware, data processing and image generation are primarily studied in this thesis. System is mainly carrying through data processing using Matlab, through rotation matrix, migration matrix, space vector vertical formula and space plane formula, puts forward a getting pipe network parameter method based on graphics, which successfully converts the original data into parameters needed by second development and outputs in the form of text document, thus completes the data processing work. Then based on the use of VBA, makes full use of data information to fulfill secondary development of SolidWorks, accomplishes painting dot, painting mean line, creating datum, painting circle and lofting through the secondary development program, eventually generates pipe network 3D routing chart and combining with the reality, calculates the accurate simulation dot, makes the procedure simulation to ensure the accuracy of algorithm and procedures, thus realizing the required functions of this topic.At the same time, the thesis also does some research for data acquisition module. It verifies the correctness of the method, successfully generates relevant data documents needed by data processing and preliminary designs the man-machine interface which forms the foundation of the system function extension.
