Analysis And Design Of The Besttone System For Yunnan Telecom Company

Besttone service is a key business of China Telecom, which is in the strategic transformation process from a traditional network operator to an integrated information service provider. Yunnan Telecom Besttone System provides query service on the life information at all times and places for the telephone users in Yunnan Province. Dialing 114, all sorts of life information such as catering, entertainment, and housekeeping, as well as hotel reservation and air ticket booking are available. To maintain Besttone's leading position in the market of the information service, and to promote Besttone's brand operation in China, information resources of every city and province must be mutually shared, the unity and interprovincial query of information fuzzy inquiry function must be achieved, and the support capability of system business function must be regulated and advanced.This paper describes the current status and existing problems of Yunnan Telecom Besttone system, analyzes the requirements of all functions of the new Besttone System, and redesigns the overall system architecture, data model, seat interfaces, information search interface and the external system interface. This paper works majorly on the following aspects.1. Introduce the BEA Weblogic Server middleware and Oracle database platform, analyze and summarize key features and advantages of middleware and database systems in the enterprise application development, deployment, security, processing performance.2. Introduce the old Besttone system's business functions, network structure, and analyze its problems. 3. Analyze new Besttone System's requirements in business function, support management, interface function.4. Study and discuss the overall design of Besttone System in the network architecture, physical deployment, logical architecture, application architecture. The hierarchical design of the system is discussed in the data, logic, and representation. Business data model in detail design, seat interface design, information search interface design and the design of the external system interface are discussed also.
