In the process of electronic circuit design, a variety of Electronic Design Automatic(EDA) tools is used to aid design, and the files that designed by these tools are with different formats, because of there is no standard file format. Therefore, reviewing the design data that designed by different EDA tools uniformly, automatically and quickly is an urgent problem currently.Current development of EDA design data review, standardization and data exchange are researched in this paper, at the same time their respective advantages and disadvantages are analyzed in practical applications. Through in-depth study of data fusion technology, a method of fusing the heterogeneous integration of EDA design data before review is proposed. In accordance with this method, three design data review requirement is proposed by this paper, namely schematic review, Printed Circuit Board (PCB) review and schematic associate with PCB review. Combined with engineering experience in electronic circuit design requirements and review rules, three kinds of interface file that fit for the three kinds reviews previously mentioned have been designed. By comparing and analysis, file formats of schematics and PCB board that are designed by three kinds of different EDA tools are researched. The three kinds of EDA tools are Protel, Mentor-Graphics and Cadence. Based on file formats analysis, data that the interface file required has been found out in the source file, fusion algorithm that fuse the three kinds of EDA design source files to the interface file have been designed, and process of conversion is highlighted. Mathematical model of transform problem in the fusion process is established to complete the EDA file fusion.Through the work above, reviewing the EDA design data can be shifted to checking the interface file. Practice shows that the checking efficiency can be greatly improved in the electronic circuit design process, and the correctness and integrity of the design can be ensured largely, thus the design and production cycle is significantly reduced.To make the research in this paper have more applications, file produced by other EDA tools should be included in the future. At the same time, the fusion algorithm needs to be optimized to improve the fusion efficiency.
