As an emerging multimedia industry, mobile TV is being concerned by more and more people. But in practical applications, the received signal of the mobile TV receiving terminals is often corrupted by the error and packet loss problem arose under the unrealiable mobile receiving environment, which results in the terminals'poor playback quality, constraining the development of the mobile TV industry. To handle this problem, the paper researches new error-resilience techniques and theory that can be used for the mobile TV system based on the mobile TV multimedia information processing of T-DMB standard, which has important theoretical and practical significance.The research works and achievement included in this paper are outlined as follows:Firstly, the paper analyzes the structure of T-DMB system, we lay great focus on the outer coding frame designed for the video service in T-DMB system. On the basis of that, the paper proposes an error-correcting algorithm based on the padding-bytes detection and the error-location prediction, the proposed algorithm can result in the enhancement of error-correcting ability for T-DMB system.Secondly, the paper analyzes the key techniques and error-resilience tools used by the H.264 based-line profile, and then the paper studies the whole frame loss error concealment techniques which are applicable for the mobile TV system. We propose an improved algorithm based on the variance and correlation of the sub-block's motion vectors which can achieve better repair quality.Thirdly, the paper analyzes the basic principle of HE-AAC V2 audio compression method.Based on that, the paper investigates some audio error concealment techniques, and designes the audio concealment method of packet repetition which substitutes the corrupted audio frame with the correctly decoded frame immediately before the corrupted one, the method can improve the audio playback quality in the error-prone environment. Finally, the paper designs and implements the TS stream player for the T-DMB system.
