The Application Of Video Traffic Incidents Detection System In Yingrui Highway

Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) has become one of the frontier research topics of transportation field. As an important part of ITS, the traffic vehicle detection technique base on video analyzing has better performance than any other detecting techniques. However, as Video-based vehicle detection method is subjected to the control of environment, climate and other factors, the technology needs to be improved continuously.This paper aims at the way of analysis on the needs of the management of the traffic condition in Yingrui Highway and the types of the present-day examination technology, puts forward complete solutions to the examination system on the video events in Yingrui Highway, states the construction, process, main functional module and the function of the system in detail, and discusses the situation of the application. The system not only provides the information of the circulation, speed of the cars and trucks, car spacing, the brands of the cars, the usage of the highway and the violating regulations of the cars, but also the accident information, like the stagnation of movement, retrogradation, slow traffic, pedestrian throwing things and smoke. The system is made up of the analytical equipment, the management equipment of the traffic accidents, the software and the relevant transmission equipment.
