Current Situation And Countermeasures Of Primary Olympic Education Model School In Beijing

Education is the soul of Olympic, which is a necessary part in current education of makings. Olympic is not only an efficient means, but also the component of education. Implementation of the Education Plan for Beijing Olympic Games in 2008 is one of important parts for the Olympic Games in 2008. In order to promote the implementation of the Olympic education in primary schools and middle schools, Ministry of Education in China and Beijing Organizing Committee for the games of the 29th Olympiad develop a movement of constructing and denominating "Beijing 2008 Olympic Education Model School" . This pioneering work has been the focus of the attention of the people in the world who is concerned about the Olympic education, it is also one part of the education legacy of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. And the Education on the Olympic Games among grade school students is a main part in the total Education Plan for the Olympic Games. Therefore, it is very necessary to investigate and research the actualities of the elementary Olympic Education Model School in Beijing.The writer applies documentary style , interviewing style , questionnaire and investigating style. With the purpose to strengthen Olympic education in students, improve their humanism makings and leave education legacy of the Olympic Games which has characteristic of Beijing. This dissertation researches based on the most theoretical researches in the history, from the present situation of our country's education, in order to understand the situation of the elementary Olympic Education Model School in Beijing, this research surveyed the content, format and difficulties exist in the Implementation of Education on Olympic Games and give the relevant suggestions to provide some practical reasons and supports for the development of Education on the Olympic Games. So, this thesis had a certain theoretical and actual value.
