The Basic Education Reform,which started from 2001,is a significant,far-reaching, difficult and complex task.It has become a mass reform in which lots of shools and teachers put a great passion. With the implementation of the new curriculum, more and more problems has exposed, especially in the vast rural schools, due to various constraints, the effect of the implementation of the new curriculum will inevitably shrink. Junior middle school education is particularly significant for rural students.As the special conditions of rural schools, there have been many problems appeared. This article takes the Shanggan Junior middle school as the object of study, carrying out research through methodologies of questionnaire, interview, observation and so on, in order to find out deep-seated causes of the problem, in order to explore new programs for the implementation of the new curriculum in rural area. From the investigations of school,teachers and students, the article,first of all, study the basic situation of the school, to prepare and provide the basis for further investigation;Second, through the investigations of teachers' attitudes towards teaching, status of teaching design, status of teaching, teaching research, we learn the implementation status of the new curriculum; And put the students' questionnaires, interviews as an auxiliary means. On these basis,we discuss the factors from the Principal's idea, curriculum resources, teaching cooperation, teaching equipment, teachers and students' evaluation system, teachers' attitudes towards teaching, status of teaching design, status of teaching, teaching research, which affect the implementation of the new curriculum,and propose some advice for the implementation of the new curriculum in rural junior middle schools.
