Abstract/Summary:
The outbreak of the October revolution interrupted the vision of the Mensheviks about Russian way, but the goal of establishing a democratic state did not change, and even actively lobbied for that purpose. The Central Committee rejected the methods of violence struggle and tried to turn the struggle with the Bolsheviks in the Soviet system. Differences in the methods of struggle caused serious organizational rift. Civil War re-challenged the classical theory of Menshevik. Under such conditions , the patriotism inspired to The Central Committee change the hostility position to the government to support the Government in defending the homeland war, and Defensist who have taken part in armed action against the Bolsheviks were expelled from the Central Committee, Then Menshevik re-amended the party's theory. After the Civil War, the Bolshevik's economic capacity has been questioned, the Kronstadt uprising forced Lenin to retreat from the War Communism and institute the new economic policy. The policy is widely seen followed the Menshevik's economic theory,Therefore, it led to the crises within the rule of the government. To eliminate the crisis and the increasing influence of Mensheviks, Bolshevik arrested the Mensheviks and expelled the Mensheviks from the Russian. Menshevik political influence disappeared completely. Survivors of Menshevik in emigration and in Russia still struggle for the objective of a democratic country and once revise its policies again, but they irretrievably and completely out of the stage of history...
