Objective: The study aimed to discusion the association between the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and the patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis.and we have also explore the risk factors associated with cryptogenic cirrhosis. Methods: Fifty patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis without diabetes mellitus,Fifty patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and fifty patients with both type 2 diabetes mellitus and cryptogenic cirrhosis were elected to investigate the changes of fasting blood glucose (FBG), and hepatic function.meanwhile, adopting chromatometry to detect cholesterol, fluorometric method to detect triglyceride, precipitation method to detect alpha-lipoprotein and low density lipoprotein for the purpose of observing the difference between between the patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus and cryptogenic cirrhosis.Statistics method was used to discussion difference. Results:There was no difference of ApoA1 and ApoB between the patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis and type 2 diabetes mellitus,2.There was difference of FBG CHOL AST ALT HDL VDL between the patients of with cryptogenic cirrhosis and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The FBG of the patients with diabetes mellitus in cryptogenic cirrhosis were different from type 2 diabetes mellitus.A stepwise multiple regression analysis was performed to evaluate the relationship between type 2 diabetes and type 2 diabetes with cryptogenic cirrhosis. FBG,AST and ALT were chosen as predictors of cryptogenic cirrhosis. Conclusions:The blood fat of patients with cryptogenic cirrhosis is abnormal,There is some association between type 2 diabetes mellitus and cryptogenic cirrhosis. FBG,AST and ALT could be used as effective indexes predict the occurrence of cryptogenic cirrhosis in patients type 2 diabetes mellitus.
