Objective: Through brief of bone and joint tuberculosis patients secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis, get the individual information and the disease information of these patients, analyses the disease's epidemiological tendency. Methods To do an investigation of bone and joint tuberculosis patients secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis from 2005 to 2010 in the city of Altay. Contrivance the questionnaire, to make up a investigate group, and all the medical member are training, they statistics these patients'individual information and get the disease message according to the questionnaire, assemble all the results and do the statistics analysis. Results: The Disease Control Institution offer 762 pulmonary tuberculosis patients and we examine 731 of them, the proportion is 95. 9%,among the total patients, 37 of them to trouble bone and joint tuberculosis. in these 37 patients, male 20 and female 17, the sexual ratio is 1: 0. 85; Their ages were from 10 to 73, the average was 37. 7 years old; 6 of them are Han people, 27 of them are Hazakh people; 20 are farmer, 5 are herdsman, 7 of them are officer; They were in low education, 5 are in university or above, 3 are in high school, 13 are in junior high school and 16 of them in primary school or below;After treating at the first hospital, 14 of them are cure, 17 are improve, 4 are not cure yet and 1 dead; Among these patients, 25 trouble with spinal tuberculosis, 7 trouble with hip joint tuberculosis, 1 is ankle joint tuberculosis and 3 are toes tuberculosis; 33 of them have been treat by use anti-tuberculosis drugs, 22 of them use Staphylococcus tetragenus drugs, 9 of them use trigeminy drugs, 2 of them use bigeminy drugs. 15 of these patients have been treat with surgery operation, 7 of them clearance of focal lesion, 2 of them clearance of focal lesion and bone graft, 6 of them clearance of focal lesion and bone graft and internal fixation. Conclusion: In the analysis, majority of the bone and joint tuberculosis patients secondary to pulmonary tuberculosis are farmer or herdsman, most of they are young people, when they were first time in the hospital, can be given right diagnosis and treatment, but if want to reduce the rate of the disabled, and increase the healing rate, most important is do propaganda to the people live in the village, than can discover the bone and joint tuberculosis patients early.
