Influence Of Ambroxol On Il-8,tnf-α Of Patients With Acute Exacerbation Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Objective:To research the effect of ambroxol on IL-8,TNF-a of patients with acute exacerbation of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.Method:60 patients with AECOPD who accepted by our hospital (the fifth affiliated of xinjiang medical university) in 2008.6-2009.4. All patients are in the acute period, whose classification were moderate or serious degree, based on mensuration of lung function test. According to sex,age,period of illness,exponential of smoking,degree of COPD,scores of CPIS, Sixty patients with AECOPD were divided into group A(coventional treatment and ambroxol treatment group) and group B(coventional treatment group),with thirty patients respectively, by partnership with the ratio 1:1. Additional, thirty healthy people were regarded as group C (healthy group). The patients in hospital in both group A and group B were given coventional theraphy, including controlling oxygen treatment and anti-infection treatment, periods of treatment were 7 to 10days. As a result,the patients were in the steady stage of COPD. Additional, ambroxol injection with 60 milligrammes were added in the 0.9% sodium chloride solution with 150 milliliter to the patients in the group A, twice a day, period of treatment were 7 to 10days.as a result, the patients were in the steady stage of COPD. And to observe the level of IL-8,TNF-a in blood serum before and after theraphy in two groups and group C by ELSIA, respectively.Results:(1) The level of IL-8,TNF-a in blood serum of two groups after theraphy (in the acute stage of COPD) were lower than that of before theraphy(in the steady stage of COPD). There were significantly difference (P<0.05); (2) The level of IL-8,TNF-a in blood serum before theraphy (in the acute stage of COPD) and after theraphy (in the steady stage of COPD)in two groups(group A and group B) were higher than healthy comparison group (group C). There were significantly difference (P<0.05); (3) The level of IL-8,TNF-a in blood serum of the group A after treatment were lower than that of group B, there were significantly difference (P<0.05) Conclusion:IL-8 and TNF-a took part in the forming inflammation of the airway. The ambroxol can inhibit the level of IL-8,TNF-a in blood serum of patients with COPD, it had some kind of protection and theraphy to the lung.
