Objective: To investigate the expression of transforming growth factorβ1(TGFβ1),transforming growth factor-βⅡRecepto(rTGFβRⅡ),p27 and cyclin E in condyloma acuminatum (CA).Methods: Immunohistochemical SP(streptavidin-perosidase) method and color pathological image computer analysis system were applied to detect the expressions of TGFβ1,TGFβRⅡ,p27 and cyclin E in 30 patients with CA and 15 normal human skin (foreskin). Results: The expression of TGFβ1 and Cyclin E were significantly higher in CA than in the normal foreskin tissue(P<0.05).The expression of TGFβRⅡand p27 were significantly lower in CA than in the normal foreskin tissue(P<0.05).The expression of TGFβ1 was positively correlated to Cyclin E (P<0.05); The expression of TGFβRⅡwas negatively correlated to Cyclin E (P<0.05); The expression of TGFβ1 was negatively correlated to p27 (P<0.05); The expression of TGFβRⅡwas positively correlated to p27 (P<0.05); The expression of p27 was negatively correlated to Cyclin E (P<0.05).Conclusion: The TGFβ1 was up-regulated in CA , but the down-regulation of TGFβRⅡmay disrupt the TGFβsignal transduction and disable the TGFβ1 negative regulation of cell proliferation ,inhibit the expression of p27 and then induce the over expression of Cyclin E which can disorder cell cycle control and promote the cell proliferation.
