Objective:(1)To know the status and features of conorchiosis sinensis infection in high risked area in Hunan province. (2) To analyse the risk factors in high risked area in Hunan province. (3)To provide the scientific support to control and prevention of conorchiosis sinensis.Methods:Ten villages were randomly selected from two high risked towns according to the directions of east,south,west,north and middle.1400 citizens of the 10 villages were radonly sampled to questionnaire survey and etiological examination on conorchiosis sinensis. The Kato-katz was used in etiological examination. Epi data 3.0 software was used to creat the database, and spss 13.0 was used to analyse the data with descriptive statistic,χ2 test and logistic analysis.Results:(1) 633 citizens were test to conorchiosis infection positively in 1307 citizens which have finished the questionnaires correctly among the 1400 citizens. The infection rate of conorchiosis sinensis is 48.43%. Among the 1307 citizens, the male and female infection rate is 52.4% and 44.10%, respectively, the male infection rate is higher than the female's, the difference is significant. Study showed significant difference among different age groups, the age group of over 70 years has the highest infection rate,and the age group of 6-10 years has the lowest infection rate. The differences among different education populations were found significant differences,too. The cadres population has the highest infection rate, the workers and traders population has the highest infection rate among all the occupation populations, study showed the difference was significant. (2) The single factor analysis showed the followed factors were correlated with conorchiosis infection:not washing chopping block after cutting fish, feeding fish with human dejecta, not knowing fresh fish cause conorchiosis infection, not hearing about conorchiosis sinensis, not knowing the cause of conorchiosis sinensis, not knowing the route of conorchiosis infection, thinking the fresh fish eating is hygienic, eating fresh fish while knowing it causes conorchiosis infection, not dissuading others from eating fresh fish while self was infected, thinking the fresh fish dishes is in the family menu, having the different attitudes to the fresh fish dishes, eating fresh fish. (3) The following risk factors were found in the regression equation by using Logistic regression analysis: age, education level, not washing hands before eating or after defecating, not washing chopping block after cutting fish, feeding fish with human dejecta, eating fresh fish, thinking the fresh fish eating is hygienic, not hearing about conorchiosis sinensis.Conclusion:(1)The total population conorchiosis infection in high risked area in Hunan province is 48.3%. (2)The features of infection are that male, aged, higher education level, cadres populations were found to be the high risked population. (3)The determinaters factors of higher age, higher education level, not washing hands before eating or after defecating, not washing chopping block after cutting fish, feeding fish with human dejecta, eating fresh fish, thinking the fresh fish eating is hygienic, not hearing about conorchiosis sinensis were found to increase the risk of infection of conorchiosis sinensis.
