Background and Objectives:Acute abdominal disease is a common and frequently-occurring diseases clinically, which is characterized by:onset and fast progress, more change, if the timely diagnosis and treatment, the patient prognosis is good, if not timely diagnosis and treatment, ranging bring patients sequelae while in life-threatening. However, the clinical manifestations of acute abdominal disease, physical examination and laboratory tests are not specific character, so the early diagnosis is still a difficulty. In recent years, as imaging technology continues to evolve, especially in ultrasound technology and the development of spiral CT technology, making abdominal lesions were clearly revealed, providing for clinical timely and accurate diagnostic information. This study in adult patients with acute abdominal disease by ultrasound examination and spiral CT examination, on the basis of ultrasonic and spiral CT adult acute abdominal disease diagnosis principles, and with laboratory results and surgical and pathological findings contrast ultrasound and spiral CT in comparison value of early diagnosis of acute abdominal disease in adults.Methods:1,Clinical data:A retrospective analysis in December 2005~December 2008 emergency department admissions in our hospital adult patients with acute abdominal disease, ultrasonic and spiral CT two cases of examination,97 patients. All the cases from laboratory and operation and pathology results confirmed.2,Ultrasound examination:using color Doppler ultrasound diagnostic apparatus and ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus, and the probe frequency of 3.5-7MHz,on patients with abdominal and pelvic ultrasound scan, checked and immediately issue the diagnostic report.3,Spiral CT examination:use of GE Brightspeed 16-slice spiral CT scan saul and enhance abdominal and pelvic flat. Scanned, careful observation, analysis and judgement report issued by pathological diagnosis.4,Diagnostic criteria:based on ultrasoound and spiral CT in the diagnostic criteria for acute abdominal disease.5,StatisticsThis experimental data using SPSS 11.5 for Windows software for statistical analysis, x~2 test, with P< 0.05 to have statistically significant difference.Results:1,Diagnostic rate of acute abdominal diseaseUltrasound diagnosis accuracy was 94.8%(92/97). The diagnostic accuracy of spiral CT was 92.8%(90/97). It was no significant difference in Ultrasound or spiral CT diagnosis accuracy of acute abdominal disease (x~2= 0.10, P> 0.05). 2,Cause of acute abdominal disease diagnostic accuracyUltrasound diagnosis of disease causes:revealed the accuracy from digestive disease to major abdominal vascular disease of 96.8%(30/31),100%(22/22), 100%(23/23),85.7%(12/14),71.4%(5/7), respectively.. Spiral CT diagnosis of disease causes:revealed the accuracy of 96.8%(30/31),95.5%(21/22),82.6%(19/23),92.9% (13/14),100%(7/7), respectively. Conclusion:This research through and laboratory examination and operation and pathology results comparison shows, ultrasonic and spiral CT for the diagnosis of acute adults has a very important significance. In gastrointestinal diseases and abdominal vessels of disease, spiral CT is superior to ultrasound. In gynecological diseases and urinary tract disease, ultrasonic is superior to spiral CT. Rapidly response in acute abdomen, the ultrasound is superior to spiral CT, ultrasound as low cost, easy to operate, can travel via the bedside examination, so early diagnosis of acute abdomimal disease in adults can be used as the preferred method. For the diagnosis of acute abdominal disease, ultrasonic and no obvious difference between the spiral CT,and has certain limitation, but will combine both complement each other, often can have the effect.
