Syndrome Research Of Prehypertension Patients-pre-investigation Of Clinical Epidemiology

Objective:Pre-Investigation on the distribution of prehypertension syndromes with risk elements of cardiovascular diseases was carried out by use of cross-sectional survey method in small samples, for further investigation and to provide study groups a basis for the discription of prehypertensive syndrome dialectical elements. Methods:In Zhangqiu of Shandong Province, screen out 39 cases 50-79-year-old patients of prehypertention not of major diseases combined, through a standard form of questionnaire survey to collect baseline information such as age, sex, weight, heart rate, etc, existed risk elements information and quantitative data classification syndrome:According to "Chinese medicine clinical research guiding principles", established standard sub-type. The results:(1) prehypertensive patients permit the emergence of a higher frequency syndrome factors:the "blur vision", "irascibility,""amnesia", "Night and more frequent." tongue "(more than 40%). (2) the commom syndromes in prehypertensive patients are Liver Kang Sheng Case and Liver Kang Sheng+ Yin deficient positive high Case. (3) Clinical baseline data:between the two groups,systolic blood pressure(SBP),diatolic blood pressure(DBP),and pulse pressure(PP),waist hip rate(WHR),are of singnificant difference(P<0.05); age,sex,body mass index(BMI), heart beat rate,smoking cases,drinking cases are of no singnificant difference(P>0.05). Conclusion:(1) combined with characteristics of hypertension disease and the eldly, the "blur vision", "irascibility,""amnesia", "Night and more frequent," " tongue "could be evidence in prehypertensive syndrome dialectical elements.(2) combined with the distribution of the prehypertension standard sub-types,TCM syndromes of liver system cuold be the basic syndromes. (3) compared with normal blood pressure group,prehypertension group has higher SBP,DBP,PP,WHR level,which means that abdominal obesity could be the original factor of hypertension,and prehypertensive patients'body may begin to irregulate in order to prevent themselves from hypertension.
