Objective:To investigate the clinical application value of two-dimensional strain in left ventricular function of uremia patients.Methods:33 selected patients with uremia were enrolled in the study.20 cases of normal people were taken as control group. The clients lie down and turned to the left side, collecting the pictures of short-axis(levels of mitral ring, apex, and papillary muscle) and long-axis(levels of four chamber, two chamber, and three chamber) levels of left ventricle. The cardiac indexes of conventional echocardiography of two groups would be measured and recorded. The images would be transmitted to the Echo PAC workstation. Each value of systolic strain (GS), systolic strain rate (GSRs), earlier diastolic strain rate (GSRe), advanced diastolic strain rate (GSRa), and the ratio between GSRe and GSRa (GSRe/GSRa) of short-axis and long-axis of left ventricle would be analyzed and be compared. Results:Compared with the control group, the values of GS and GSRs of uremia group were higher than the control group, however, the values of GSRe, GSRa, and GSRe/GSRa of uremia group decreased. In the level of two chamber, the differences of GS, GSRe and GSRe/GSRa ratio were statistically significant(P<0.05); in the level of four chamber, the differences of GS, GSRs, GSRe, and GSRe/GSRa ratio were statistically significant (P<0.05); in the level of mitral ring, the difference of GS value was statistically significant (P<0.05); in the level of papillary muscle, the GSRe/GSRa ratio was statistically significant (P<0.05); however, the differences of three chamber and apex levels were not statistically significant (P>0.05). Among the cardiac indexes of conventional echocardiography, the differences of E/A ratio and LVEF were not statistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:Two-dimensional strain echocardiography can quantitatively analyze the movement rules of left ventricular myocardium of uremic patients. It can indirectly reflect the diastolic and systolic dysfunction of left ventricle. It is an important reference for the clinical diagnosis, treatment and prognosis evaluation.
