Clinical Observation Of Bushenjiangu San In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis (treatment Progress Of Knee Osteoarthritis)

Objective:1. To discuss the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.2. To study the effect of the treatment and mechanism with traditional Chinese medicine (Bushenjiangu San) to KOA.Methods:1. We Used traditional Chinese medicine (Bushenjiangu San) to treat 30 patients with KOA (the experiment group) and controlled by 30 patients treated with Western medicine Glucosamine Sulfate Capsules (the control group). The therapeutic course is four weeks. After three months, we observe the contents including the degree of the pain, the therapeutic effect of symptom and signs, the mark of knee joint function, the mark of lab and the adverse reaction of gastrointestinal tract (GIT).2. And we Review and evaluate the arguments about KOA on the part of Chinese and modern medicine.Results:(1) Evaluating therapeutic effect after fourth weeks of treatment:the experiment group apparent efficiency ratio of 60.00%and efficiency ratio of 76.67%, while the control group only had 53.33%and 63.33%(P<0.05). (2) Evaluate the degree of the pain, the presenting symptom, objective sign, the mark of knee joint function and the Chinese physician symptoms, all above objectives have ameliorated comparing with pre-treatment in two groups respectively and two groups during treatment, the experiment group provided efficacy advantages over control group in therapeutic efficacy (P<0.05). (3) The result of the adverse reaction of GIT showed that the experiment group had advantages.Conclusions:1. Under existing condition, we should treat KOA with all kinds of treatment about Chinese and modern medicine to improve the effect and degrade the adviser condition.2. The effect of the treatment with traditional Chinese medicine (Bushenjiangu San) to KOA has excellent curative effect, and this method is safe and reliable, so traditional Chinese medicine treatment to KOA has a great development perspective.
