Objective:To investigate the effects of GuBenKeLi Capsule on the contents of cytokines (IL-8,TNF-α) in BALF and serum of COPD Rats Model and explore the mechanism of treating COPD with GuBenKeLi capsule. Methods:50 male Wistar rats were divided randomly into five groups:Normal control group, Model control group, Prednisone group, GuBenKeLi capsule low dose group, GuBenKeLi capsule high dose group, each group with 10 rats. Then we copied COPD Rats Model by being Smoked and inhaled with LPS. At the same time, each group was given relevant medicines. After eight weeks, we killed all the rats. And then we observed the changes of lung histomorphology of rats of various groups, surveyed the contents of cytokines ((IL-8,TNF-α)in BALF and serum. Results:Changes of bronchial and pulmonary histopathology in each group were typical, pointed out that COPD Rats Model were successful. Compared to Normal control group, Model control group had unbalance in the contents of cytokines in BALF and serum. Compared comprehensively, D Prednisone group were better than other groups, GuBenKeLi capsule high dose group secondly, GuBenKeLi capsule low dose group worstly. Conclusion:GuBenKeLi capsule could alleviate the airway inflammation and affected the contents of cytokines in BALF and serum and alleviated Lymphocyte infiltration in COPD rats model. Above-mentioned action can be reinforced by increased dose.
