Experimental Study Of The Effects Of Quzhi Capsule On Lipometabolism Of Rats

Objective: The study is to observe the effect of QuZhi capsule which can supply the basements for adopting JieDuHuaShi, QuTanXingYu cure hyperlipidemia fatty liver in clinic.MethodsrAnimal models were set up by feeding high caloric diet. Rats were randomly divided into seven groups(normal group,model group, non-therapy group, Quzhi capsule group[high dose, hit dose, low dose], DL-Methionine group). Hepatic index(liver weight/body weight), hepatic function, blood lipid, hepatic lipid and liver were assayed before and after therapy with Quzhi capsule.Result:Compared with normal group, model group's hepatic index, blood lipid and hepatic lipid increased significantly (P<0.01) . Hepatichistology expressed mode to heavy rate fatty denaturation, wich was mainly small fatty droplets. After being treated with Quzhi capsule(high dose and hit dose)for four weeks, hepatic index, blood lipid and hepatic lipid decreased significantly (P < 0.05) , and mean while hepatic histology was closed to normal or mild to moderate fatty denaturation. In non-therapy group, hepatic function, blood lipid, hepatic lipid some what decreased and hepatic histology improved. Comoped with DL-Methionine group, Quzhi capsule group has better effect in the treatment of hyperlipidemia fatty liver.Conclusions:Fatty liver is familiar pathology change during the progress of chronic hepatitis and liver fibrosis. Positive treatment of fatty liver is very important. Because it can prevent the development of chronic hepatic illness. Quzhi capsule is effective in the treatment of hyperlipidemi-induced fatty liver.
