Objective:We continuously observed and explored the Trans Cranial Doppler (TCD) of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) to study the therapeutic mechanism and the effect of the youth in Yanglingquan point at different time with acupuncture, in order to provide a better basis and facilitate the clinical applications. Methods:Select 20 healthy youth volunteers randomly,10 males and 10 females, aged 20-26, mean 22.95±1.88 years old, no smoking and drinking history, no history of halo pin, not taking drug within 72 hours before the experiment. In a quiet environment (ambient temperature 24.40±1.88℃, humidity 63.95±1.82%), the subjects took supine positions, rested for 15 minutes, headed to the right side, and fully exposed to the left temporal, using the probe (7.5MHz frequency) in the left temporal window to explore the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) of 56mm depth, in order to detect the brain hemodynamics changes. Needle the subjects with bilateral Yanglingquan points. Fifteen minutes before the acupuncture, the needling in time (in the piercing parts or meridian locations, there would be acid, hemp, swelling or pain. We needed line up the bilateral simultaneously in the flat reducing method, or a slight uniform twist 15S,120 rev/min, a total of 30 transfers), the rowing time (retention for 15 minutes, the way and frequency range above), the needling out time (retention for 30 minutes, twisting, the way and frequency range above), ten minutes after needling time, the above five points, when needling in and rowing, the time was scheduled after twisting,; when needling out, the time was scheduled to leave the body. When we had a clear and stable signal, we recorded the peak velocity of systolic (Vs), the peak velocity of diastolic (Vd), the velocity of mean (Vm), the pulsate index (PI) and resistance index (RI),sampling in the most saturated colors. We established a database of all information into SPSS, measured the data with mean±standard deviation (x±s), apply for t test and variance analysis, and use SPSS 17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis. Results:When needling the Yanglingquan point, compared with 15 minutes before acupuncture, the needling in time, the rowing time, the needling out time and ten minutes after needling time, the RI and PI flow velocity did not have significant difference(P> 0.05); the Vm, Vs and Vd flow velocity have significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion1. When needling the Yanglingquan point in the course of the four time points, the peak velocity of systolic (Vs), the peak velocity of diastolic (Vd), the velocity of mean (Vm) of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) could increase significantly, suggesting that the acupuncture Yanglingquan process may increase the blood flow of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA).2 When needling the Yanglingquan point in the course of the four time points, the vascular resistance of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) had no significant difference, suggesting that the acupuncture Yanglingquan process could not have obvious effects of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) on the healthy youth.3. When needling the Yanglingquan point, the peak velocity of systolic (Vs), the peak velocity of diastolic (Vd),the velocity of mean (Vm) of the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA) had significant difference after needling out, suggesting that the acupuncture Yanglingquan process could have consequential effects on the Middle Cerebral Artery (MCA).
