J. Chang and Porphyra haitanensis T. J. Chang et Zheng Baofu were investingated. Conchocelis of Porphyra katadai Miura var. hemiphylla derived from four kinds of vegetative tissues of fronds and single zygotospore respectively; Conchocelis of Porphyra haitanensis derived from two kinds of vegetative tissues of fronds and single zygotospore respectively. Results were as follows:1. Different characters in growth, development and biochemical characters of conchocelis derived from different genetic origin of Porphyra katadai var. hemiphyllaThere were different characters in growth and development of five kinds of conchocelis. conchocelis of PKSTF and PKSTM showed different characters obviously in five kinds of conchocelis. PKSTF conchocelis grew fastest with DGR beyond 25% among five kinds of conchocelis at all conditions. However, PKSTF conchocelis formed a few sporangial branches at all conditions, PKSTM conchocelis grew normally with the highest DGR 23.1% and formed numerous sporangial branches at 15℃, however, there is extremely low DGR at 20℃and 25℃. There is little difference between conchocelis of PKTF3 and PKTM3. Conchocelis of PKTF3 and PKTM3 grew faster than PKSTM conchocelis and grew slower than PKSTF conchocelis. Temperature of 20℃was optimum to growth of conchocelis of PKTF3 and PKTM3. The highest DGR of conchocelis of PKTF3 and PKTM3 went beyond 25% and DGR of conchocelis of PKTM3 was higher. Two kinds of conchocelis formed few sporangial branches at 15℃and 20℃. Conchocelis of PKWC030219F grew slower than PKSTF conchocelis and the difference of DGR between Conchocelis of PKWC030219F and PKSTF is little. DGR of Conchocelis of PKWC030219F went beyond 25% at 15℃and 20℃. In addition, the conditions which were suitable for formation of sporangial branches of two kinds are very similar, and the amount of formed sporangial branches of two kinds is similar too. The DGR of five kinds of conchocelis: PKSTF > PKWC030219F > PKTM3 > PKTF3 > PKSTM. The absorbance of photosynthetic proteins and ecologyical characters of conchocelis matched well. The conchocelis which grew faster has higher absorbance of photosynthetic pigments. The absorbance of photosynthetic pigments found in In vivo absorption spectra of vegetative tissues from foliose thalli coincided with those of conchocelis well.Conchocelis derived from different genetic origin of Porphyra katadai var. hemiphylla had different characters in growth, development and absorption spectra because of their different genetic background. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Porphyra katadai var.hemiphylla, Porphyra haitanensis, growth, development, sexuality | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
