| Vaccinim bracteatum is not only the third generation nutrient fruit, but also a kind of ornamental in the garden. There is abundant in natural resources of the Vaccinim bracteatum in the South of China, however, which has not been paid enough attention to and exploited. One of the most important reasons to restrict it protecting and utilizing is short of the systemic studies. The natural resources of Vaccinim bracteatum and its community characteristics were investigated and discussed for the first time. Based on the biological and ecological characteristics, it is significant for the theory and the practice in the study of Vaccinim bracteatum's asexual reproduction, such as the tissue culture and the cutting. From the investigation in Ningbo District, it has indicated that Vaccinim bracteatum exists in various kinds of communities in the secondary forest, but it shows as the absolute dominant species or the subdominant species. The community characteristics have not reached the steady state. The Vaccinim bracteatum community composition contains 45 Families, 83 Genura and 130 Species. In the community, the main commensal trees with Vaccinim bracteatum are Pinus massoniana, Castanopsis fargesii, Schima superba, Quercus acutissima, Sassafras tsumu, Toxicodendron succedaneum and etc. In this investigation about the wild natural resources of Vaccinim bracteatum, few seedlings were discovered. Therefore, seed reproduction is a potential technique and is just a plan can be chosen in the long future. The asexual experiment results shows that: (1)It is better to use the twigs.; (2)It is very important to choose the time of collecting twigs, especial about June 15th in Ningbo District; (3) the twigs must be treated with concerning medicament. From the experiment, the incretion of ABT(No. 1), IBA and NAA3 are fit to the cutting's medicament, especially the ABT(No. 1)—200~300ppm dipping 1 hour; (4) The stroma has great influence on the twigs to root and the best choice of the stroma for the Viccinim bracteatum is rotten-moss, but the rotten-moss can be replaced by the mixture (1/3 perlite & 2/3 turf ) in the production; (5) From the experiment, organic material has side effect on the twigs, so it had better not make use of organic material such as Sugar VB1+5 to deal with the twigs; (6)The experiment has proved that the semi-lignified twigs with leaves, ripe axillary buds and non-terminal buds can be perfect cutting materials; (7) Furthermore, the leaves quantity of the twigs has no directly effect on the rooting, so the leaves on the twigs do not need to be gotten rid of. The establishment of cutting technique has laid a foundation for the Viccinim bracteatum production. From the tissue culture experiment, it indicated: (1)MS substrate is good for the Viccinim bracteatum; (2)IBA auxin has the best effect and ZT cytokinin is the best choice, but the concentrations can be chosen in the different stages of inducement, differentiation, rooting and so on; (3) In the whole experiment, Sugar 35%, Agar 0.6~0.8%, PH 5.4. Tissues culture will be the trend to reproduce the Viccinim bracteatum. |
