At present, aero engine test platform extensively utilizes the power of electric motor and motion acceleration through gear case transmission to simulate the rotating speed of engine, and consequently test the function of every part of an aero engine.Although already very mature now, the present breakdown monitor techniques fail to produce very good analysis of the high speed, non-stable gear case in complex working environment. This study develops a system of real-time monitor based on Labview gear case, which can collect data through 16 channels, with 100KHz for each channel at the same time and store them. By applying the related calculation method, this system can exercise a real-time monitor on high speed, non-stable gear cases and predicate all the possible breakdowns. This system has full functions and is easy to operate. This paper first analyzes the structure of the test platform, and then introduces the general design of the hardware of the real-time gear case monitor, including the choices of the monitoring amount and monitoring point of the vibration signals and the choices of hardware of the system. Finally, this paper illustrates the development of the software of this system, including parameter setting control module, data collecting module, analysis module and alarm module, among which the data collecting module and analysis module are the focus of this research. This system has already been experimented on the equipment of SB302 in our institute and improved for many times and consequently has reached the standard of practical usage.
