| Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) is an automobile safety control system with anti-slip and anti-lock such advantages. ABS is an improved technology based on traditional braking system, which can be classified into two types: mechanical and electronical one. The ABS system is tremendously installed in automobiles because it does not enjoy the braking function of conventional braking system but also can prevent the dead lock of wheels so that wheels can still run under the state of braking. It ensures the stability of braking direction of automobiles, preventing side slip and deviation therefore it is the most advanced braking device with the best braking results.This paper first introduces the development of anti-lock braking system at home and abroad, discussing the basic composition and characteristics of anti-lock braking control system and its mechanical theory of ABS in details. Based on the mechenical theory, the single-round ABS system simulation model has been built up with PID control algorithm. This model is carried out for dynamic simulation under the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment and the result shows the correctness and fesibility of this plan. Furthermore, the design of hardware control circuit is completed. According to the mechanical characteristics of power device of ABS system, is applys the high integration intelligent power driver modular: BTS6510 and MC33298 to the circuit of driver part, which guarantees the simplicity, affordability and reliability of driver circuit. The whole hardware has wide-ringe and high accuracy of wheel speed collection function and timely and reliable hydraulic regulating function fully reach the design requirements of ABS controller. Finally the data collection and controll algorithm planning is completed targeting hardware circuit with NI LabVIEW as the platform adopting modular programming, which enhancing the portability and flexibility and laying the foundation for the compliling of ABS system control software. It exercise joint test of software and hardware with the roller gate braking test platform as the test platform. This system will provide a good platform for research of ABS control algorithm improving the development rate and shortening the research cycle for new product of ABS system development. |
