In recent years, the construction industry has become one of the pillar industries in the country. The development of the construction industry was accelerated, but construction quality management research lags behind. Construction companies still use some simple methods of quality control.At present, the construction area has not established a sound quality evaluation system. People's understanding of quality is still very narrow. Quality control only emphasis on the physical indicators. People lack the systematic knowledge to five major factors (people, materials, machinery, methods and the environment). And because the hidden nature of the project quality and the level of detection limits, the result of quality evaluation was not sufficiently precise.In this paper, artificial neural network (ANN) technology was used in the project quality control. The paper made the following work:1. Select the project quality control point to build quality evaluation system.2. The use of MATLAB software to build neural networks.3. The use of neural network simulation project quality.4. Results of the analysis of simulation are given suggestion to improve quality control.Through engineering practice in Lianyungang, the result indicated that it is feasible to use ANN model in construction quality control. The experimental result also showed many advantages of ANN model; including the objectivity of assessing results, the high precision, help the construction enterprises to improve the quality management.
