The monitoring forces between the wheels and the track will become smaller when the lorries move faster. The study for the phenomenon above-mentioned was based on the experimental validation here. In order to study the wheel-scan forces, the instruments and small-scale model of experimental platform for the wheel-scan force detecting were designed and built. The data were sampled and analyzed based on the platform built above. The main work are as follows:1. The background of the research was introduced and the state of art and existing problems were analyzed for the wheel-rail contacting. Then, the feasibility and the necessity of the experimental research were illustrated.2. The small-scale model of experimental platform was built and functioned. Additionally, the computation and verification for the method of ejecting of wheel-scan force were provided.3. The mechanical structure, main components and process of the experimental platform for detecting the wheel-scan force were designed and studied.4. The Signal Detection Circuits for the experimental platform were designed. The circuit bridge of the sensors, circuit of signal processing and A/D sampling circuit were rigorously designed and augmented. Moreover, the functions of the circuit were obtained by simulation analysis in Multisim.5. The Signal acquisition system for the experimental platform was designed by LabVIEW software and the acquisition card of the Advantech corporation to realize the designated function.6. The integrated experiment of the signal acquisition system was executed. The data were acquired by the circuit board from the platform on which the resistance strain sensors were pasted, and then the data were further analyzed and processed.
