When our society being in the twenty-first century, science and technology have being developed at an unprecedented rate. Especially the IT vocation development catches our eye. The development of science technology can not be separated from the changing of means test. Traditional analog oscilloscope has been far from enough meet the require of R & D person and test person, Integrated, intelligent for a higher demand to the testing equipment, The author's laboratory pursues the demand develop the MSO and the four-channel DSO and so on. The author had the privilege to participate in the part software design of four-channel DSO(2GSPS).The software design bases on the core of embedded digital processor (ADSP-BF531), uses the framework of DSP and FPGA, and is processed under the Visual DSP++ platform of ADI Company. This paper is the software design of four-channel DSO which focuses on data acquisition control system and data processing system.The main contents are as follows:1st. Data acquisition control module. This module discussed the data collection, extract point and insert point of the front oscilloscopes data-processing. And discuss the scope of the trigger and trigger functions, and some of the concepts related.In the last introduces four data acquisition modes.2nd. Data processing module. All parameters and costumed parameters measure ment are implemented in the parameters measurement module. Time, breadth and auto cursor are implemented in the cursor module.3rd. Store control module. This module program comparison of the two storage schemes,In order to store and callback the variable-sized set of data waveforms,gives a reasonable scheme. And detailed discussions of the two waveform data compression algorithms, Implementation of large-capacity data processing.Modularization programming method is used in the DSO software design. Object Oriented method is used in the whole software program which makes data encapsulation much safer and software inheriting well and also makes the software maintaining much more conveniently.
