Air Traffic Collision Avoidance Algorithm

With the rapid growth of China's national economy, air traffic increased dramatically, the International civil aviation circle proposed the concept of free flight. In free-flight conditions, air traffic potential for conflict will be greatly increased.For the settlement of the conflict to ensure safe and smooth flight, air traffic collision avoidance algorithm research and simulation will be a key topic of improving flight safety and efficiency.According to above discussed topics, this paper analyzes the algorithms of two aircrafts. The main content of this paper is divided into the following parts: First, the conflict model and algorithm in the horizontal direction will be set up. Whether the tracks of the two aircrafts intersect will be a way of judging whether the conflict exists. So that qualitative analysis is set up. On basis of conflict models and algorithms, the detection models and algorithms in the horizontal are set up.The two planes of horizontal change over time interval and the closest point of arrival time will be simulated to quantitatively detect the existence of the conflict.Second, the conflict model and algorithm in the vertical direction will be set up, The vertical track will be simulated to determine the conflict trend. On basis of this, the detection model and algorithms in the vertical are set up. The two planes of vertical change over time interval will be simulated to quantitatively detect the existence of the conflict.Third, collision and avoidance model and algorithm in the horizontal will be set up. A steering angle, speed and distance over time interval will be simulated and modeled.The logic processing process for collision avoidance resolution advisory in horizontal direction is also given.Finally, vertical collision and avoidance model and algorithm will be set up.To avoid invasion of plane crash , the plane in vertical direction selects reverse, accelerate measures.The vertical separation over time interval will be modeled and simulated.
