The permanent magnetic reciprocating generator researched in the dissertation is actually a linear generator, which is made based on Heat Energy–Mechanical Energy–Electric Energy concept. As the linear generator has many characteristics, for example, simple configuration, high mechanical reliability, high control precision and using linear movement to generate power, so it has abroad application foreground in many occasion, it will exert its own function in linear movement domain and replace the rotating generator.In this dissertation, a new type of linear generator is put forward, the differences between the generator and the common rotating generator in configuration and working principle aspects are introduced. Based on its special configuration and working principle, the finite element method is adopted to analyze the magnetic field of the permanent magnetic oscillating generator. After doing some proper simplified treatments and hypothesis of the generator, the two-dimensional finite element model of the permanent magnetic reciprocating generator is created. Then the no-load EMF (electromotive force) and no-load electromagnetic force are calculated. After comparing the results of calculated value and experimental value, the difference is very small, so the feasibility and accuracy of analyzing magnetic field of permanent magnetic reciprocating generator with finite element method are proved.Aiming at the special end effect of linear motor, the two-dimensional and three-dimensional generator model are created and solved, the synchronous reactance, transverse end leakage reactance and longitudinal end leakage reactance are calculated. In the condition of ignoring the resistance of stator winding, the electromagnetic forces when generator with resistance load and several kind of different impedance load are calculated, and electromagnetic force curves are drawing, so the result would be clear at a glance. At last, the longitudinal end effect of prototype is analyzed. From the results, the conclusion that the longitudinal end effect distorted the EMF curve and increased the electromagnetic force fluctuation could be obtained.The analytical method and model in this dissertation have considerable utility value, they could be forceful theoretical basis for the next work.
