Magnetic field needed by electromechanical energy exchange in permanent magnet synchronous motor is provided by permanent magnet. Permanent magnetism synchronous motor has lots of characteristics such as simple structure, high reliability, high efficiency and power factor, small volume, light weight and so on. Compared with electric magnetism synchronous motor and three-phase induction motor, permanent magnetism synchronous motor has special virtue. Permanent magnet synchronous motor is developing fast in these years, and will be important direction for development of electric motor.There are many kinds of the magnetic circle structure in the rotor of permanent magnetism synchronous motors and the leakage magnetic field is complex. In this paper, purpose and meaning of studying for permanent magnetism synchronous motor and development in and abroad are introduced, structure and characteristic of permanent magnetism synchronous motor is definite. To built-in type permanent magnet rotator magnetic pole structure, rotor magnetic field of one 18kW permanent magnetism synchronous motor is simulation analyzed and calculated. On considering the effect of leakage magnetic factor, two dimension and three dimension electromagnetic field finite-element methods are adopted, and static rotor leakage magnetic fields between the poles in the rotor and around the end windings are accounted. A lot of calculation is carried and series of leakage coefficient curves are achieved, those are prepared to improve computation of magnetic circuit. And then the key factor which affect leakage field of the rotor is found, the method and approach of improve on leakage flux and finite-element model is build. Through changing parameter which affects rotor leakage field size to choose logical structure of rotor and reduce permanent magnetic leakage flux, the utilization rate of permanent magnetic is increased and the design costs of motor is reduced. At the same time the fabricate techniques of motor is improved.Two dimensions and three dimension electromagnetic field finite-element methods are adopted to research the prototype mold of permanent magnetism synchronous motor, and then leakage coefficient and its correlation parameter are used to design process of motor. The main performance parameters are contrasted, which provided design basis and feasible program for structure design of permanent magnetism synchronous motor.
