Switched reluctance machine (SRM) is a new structure of electromotor. Combining this new structure with the modern power electronics technique and modern control technique, switched reluctance drive (SRD) has been one of the popissues of the development of modern electric drive. SRD has the both advantages that asynchronism motor frequency conversion drive and direct current motor drive have.This article primarily introduces the structure of SRD system and its development at home and abroad, then introduce the basic structure and operating principles of SRD and SRM specificly. And also introduces the Mathematic model of SRM of MATLAB/Simulink software. According to the description of the basic principles of SRD, we choose the voltage PWM control method. As control strategy, we put forward the control strategy of speed-current double loop. The speed loop is introduced as the out loop to control the speed, in order to decreases the over shoot and regulation time of the system, and eliminate phenomenon of integral saturation, we use integral separation control strategy in the out loop. while the current loop was introduced as the inside loop. Using the Fuzzy-PI control strategy as the regulating mode of speed loop, Classic regulating mode was applied to the Current loop, by the integral-saturation to limit the current. And the overall system simulation, analysis the simulation results comparatively.On the basis of simulation, design a 30 kw, 12/8 pole SRM controller system. And briefly introduce the part of the controller hardware and software module design. Among them, in order to improve the real-time and efficiency, uses a dual-CPU technology in hardware design: ATMega128 as to the control chip, AT89S52 for auxiliary control chip, the communication between the two CPU with dual-port RAM IDT71V321 achieve. Finally, we debug and proof this control strategy SRM speed control system in the application of superiority.
