As a common test instrument in time domain, Digital Storage Oscilloscope has been widely used in various fields. Besides all the functions and the advantages that the Digital Storage Oscilloscope possesses, Scope-Meter has the functions of Digital Multi-Meter. Due to the features of small volume, little weight, low power consumption and built-in battery, Scope-Meter is especially fit for the field environment, no-power system, mobile occasion.Based on the project―1GSa/s Handhold Scope-Meter‖, this dissertation focuses on the design of digital system,discusses the circuit of data acquisition system, the random sample sampling technology in detail, and a novel fashion of display with no control chip.The main attributions of this dissertation include:1. The design of data acquisition system. It is the core of digital storage Scope-Meter. Based on the ARM+FPGA structure, the Scope-Meter with the equivalent sampling frequency of 25GSa/s, bandwidth of 200MHz is developed by adopting real-time sampling and random sampling. The pulse width trigger circuit and the TV signal trigger circuit are discussed. And a kind of peak detection module which is implemented by VHDL in FPGA and greatly enhances the performance of catching glitch is discussed in the dissertation. Realize the random sampling based on the theory and improve the function according to the actual problems.2. The design of control circuit of LCD. Realize a control method of LCD in FPGA with a simple data combination which is very fit for high refresh rate situations.3. The usage of MAX134. By using the MAX134,Multi-Meter integrated in Scope-Meter can implement the measure of voltage, current, resistance, and diode. And it extends the functions of Scope-Meter and offers more facilities for users.
