| Since 1990s of last century, there are many automotive air-conditioning company emerged in our country. And many of them have the ability to research,develop and produce the compressor of Wobble Plate Type with fixed/variable displacement and Swash Plate type with fixed displacement. But there still has a blank in research and develop the compressor of Swash Plate type with variable displacement. Such compressor of this type is widely used in the cars of medium and top grade and it also has reached the standard of VDA of German Automotive Association. The technology of this type has reached the international advanced level.As the core component of the air conditioning, the compressor should be tested systematically. And if only the compressor that satisfy the designed performance standard can reach the real R&C goal. This essay combined the development process of the compressor of Swash Plate type with variable displacement, researched the working characteristics of compressor and automotive air conditioning system through test and analysis and improved the related components according to the test results to realize the goal of optimizing the design of compressor and improving the performance of air conditioning system.
