| Nanking is a good collection of constructions built in the period of Republic of China.During the years from 1911 to 1949, constructions in various styles had been springing up. With the passing of many decades, some of them have been tear down, some of them have been changed for commercial use, some of them have become galleries, while some still remains the original function. This essay is going to research on the construction of Dengsheng Tang which was originally designed for schooling and it's function never changes till today by exploring its space, format, material as well as its designing theory of combining east and west. |
