Shanghai Port Container Collection And Distribution System Optimization Study

Shanghai, located in central China's coastline, has convenient transportation, vast hinterland and the geographical advantages. On December 10th, 2005, Yangshan Deepwater Port District was put into operation, which is the end of the history that Shanghai hasn't a deepwater harbor, raises the level of Shanghai port, increases the concentration and radiation effects of Shanghai port, and proposes renewal requirements on the container transport set of Shanghai port. In order to adapt to the development of container transport set of Shanghai port and the expansion of transport capacity demand, the article made integrated transport theory and the system as its target, thus introducing the maximum entropy principle as a model of traffic diversion method to study in the present and the future of container transport set of Shanghai port and the emerging set quantitative analysis of transport bottleneck on the background of the rapid economic development in Shanghai and the operation of Yangshan deepwater port. The article then gave recommendations on further expansion of transport capacity of the container transport set of Shanghai port.The thesis is composed of 4 chapters. First chapter has outlined the research goal and the significance, the background condition of the Port of Shanghai container transportation system development, the technical route which this article uses, finally summarizes the divergence mode of container transportation system. Second chapter analyzes the condition correlation factor of the Port of Shanghai container transportation system from 2007 to 2010 and the development tendency of Port of Shanghai container transportation system. Third chapter establishes the model of shanghai container transportation system, has established the generalized cost function, optimizes the container transportation system in Shanghai,. Fourth chapter bases some analysis of the problem before, proposes the way to expand the ability of the Port of Shanghai container and gives the suggestion to promote the level of shanghai port transportation system.
